Symantec Ghost image takes a very long time... (Creating & Restoring)
Hi, Im new on the Forum i jst want ask about Ghost Image creation & restoration... I've Hp compaq DC 7100 CPU... i've create a Ghost Image of Drive C: (Win XP sp3 NTFS) and burnt to a DVD. now i want to insatll it with an Optical USB CD ROM, every thing is fine but it take a very very long time in restoration (Over two hours). . . Plz help
DLO admin using internet!!!
We got normal setup of 300 users with DLO 7.6 and mix of Windows XP, 7 and vista Recently we got alert from network team about DLOADMIN trying to access internet from one of user. and this repeated for another few set of users where DLO is installed. I was pretty sure it ISN'T DLOADMIN but the actual user who is accessing internet but FIREWALL gets DLOADMIN as user. We checked DLOADMIN was not set as service acount for DLO agent and if DLOADMIN is blocked on FIREWALL actual user is affected. (Quite surprising issue isn't it) Any idea what could be wrong here how to get DLOADMIN out of this here. Active Directory does reports kerberose auth successful events for DLOADMIN from same affected system on same time of internet access logged by firewall. How to debug this ...
Desktop Vault and Outlook emails
Our former IT person was great but, was recently replaced by someone who is just learning the ropes. He is overwhelmed so, he's no help right now. Here is my problem, I go to the bottom of my screen where I can search the desktop and type in a phrase like, "Gibbons Presentation." A window comes up showing me my emails that I sent or received with those key words and, I see a few lines of the text. But, that's all I can see. I need to get to the full message as well as any attachments that might have been included. Where is the actual source file? Is it pulling meta information from the OST file? Help!!!! Failed to copy to the desktop user data folder - ID backup doesn't exist
Hi, we have a notebook (winXp SP3) with DLO 7.5 SP1 installed. It always returns error "Failed to copy to the desktop user data folder. Error: Backup ID doesn't exist" when it tries to backup the same file (*.xlsx). DLO works fine on the other clients (same profile) How can i solve this issue? Thank you.
