In my previous post I mentioned that Veritas is participating in the OpenStack Summit in Barcelona and that we will be showcasing HyperScale for OpenStack and Veritas Access at our booth (C7).  I also pointed to a video that outlines how HyperScale for OpenStack helps applications perform their best.

Of course there is more to workload success than sheer storage IOPS or the predictability of that performance for workload use.  Resilience is a key attribute that workloads need to achieve to meet business goals.  As you see from this post by Frederic Lardinois (@fredericl), OpenStack is continuing to make progress along scale and resilience dimensions with the release last week of its 14th (Newton) release. Veritas HyperScale for OpenStack also contributes to meeting workload resiliency and availability requirements through supporting multiple levels of resiliency and capabilities such as live migration, versioning and the ability to save versions to external storage and restore from them. Here is a short video on the topic and a link to the next post in this series.
