Backup Exec 16 and Sharepoint 2016

Hi,

Anyone knows whats happening with BE 16 and Sharepoint 2016 compatibility ?

Mysterious quiet from Veritas in regards to BE , new features,plattform support etc. these days.

    Hi mate,

    I have not seen any roadmap for BE recently.

    I would suggest sending a PM to Colin_Weaver to see if they can share some info on this.

      I have no details to provide against any current roadmap or plans for BE support of Sharepoint 2016.

      The KB articles relating to certain feature packs and hotfixes will have provided details of when we have added new platform/application support. (Exchange CUs etc) - which you might have not been aware of.

      We have also done a soft release of Backup (20) which has a new deduplication technology as part of feature changes. That release is a soft release (not heavily marketted) as it also is only available for subscription licensing and has no licensing upgrade option. We plan to do a more complete release with more licensing & upgrade choices and potentially more enhancements  for sometime next year.
