BACKUP EXEC 2014

Hello,&nbsp;&nbsp; We have backupexc 2014 installed on windows 2012 R2 server and we are backing up several physical servers which Includes Exchange Server and SQL servers. The backup server first takes the backup on the storage and then duplicates to the&nbsp; HP LTO 7 Tape drive.&nbsp; We have created a&nbsp; media group and added a tape to it. The problem is after 2 or 3 days the backupexec server adds a random tape from the tape drive and starts the backing up on that tape instead the tape which we have defined, I am also adding a screenshot to check &nbsp;

This is because you set the Overwrite Protection Period to Infinite which means that the tape cannot be re-used, so BE will look for another overwriteable tape. If you want to re-use the tape, you need to set the OPP to a reasonable period.

I think BE2014 doesn't support LTO7.,
