Backup Exec Domino DAOS backup without "Applications and Database Agent"

A lot of customers are migrating to Domino 9.0.1 where BE 15 is not supporting it (and seems that won’t happen in a near future).
What could be a workaround procedure to backup a multi-server DAOS installation of Lotus 9.0.1?
What files and specific procedure will need to follow to avoid inconsistencies?

    1) AFE needs to be disabled. 2) The Domino service needs to be stopped before the backup. I think in most organisations this is a no-no and will preclude any backup without the Domino agent

    hi,

    now I am trying to backup the domino database data, but the job shows that there are some items were skipped. my domino was installed in Suse11. do u mind tell me how to deal the skipped issue?

    Stop the Domino service during the backup.

    Is there any other way? we have to backup the data everyday, the domino service can not be stoped.thks!
