Backup job status is Recovered

Hi Team,

    We are running Mail server back @ every day. Yesderday this job running above 2 hours and job status is recovered. Normally it will run 5 hours.

Please find the attached screenshot and let me know. What is the exact issue.

  • check the alerts tab to see if amything has been generated!
  • Hi,

      In alert the drive hardware is offline before the job end time. I think the job recovered due to this problem. That time it's trying to recover the job but it's stopped due to this issue.

     

    I need one information, Where we need to find the backup exec service start time and stop time.

  • unless you have some sort of procedure scheduled to do so, the only way is to check the Alerts tab within BE & the Event Viewer within Windows. could be that a resource is locked causing the hardware to go offline, but also check for hardware alerts!!!
  • 1. Alerts tab within BE will give you and idea of what is happening within BE and the backup job itself! 2. Event1 Viewer will indicate hardware issues as well! Thanks!
