BE 2010 R3 Sp1 RAWS Excessive Memory Utilization/Memory Leak

I am running BE 2010 R3 SP1 with HF 167567 installed, and the Remote Agent for Windows Systems service (beremote.exe) running on my backup server seems to be using an excessive amount of memory during regular backup operations, and the process does not seem to relinquish memory as it should.  It consumes over 6GB of memory!  See image below...

I have been troubleshooting several recurring backup failures that occur daily over the past several weeks, and I need to figure out if this memory utilization is "normal", or, if it might be a possible cause for some of my backup failures.

The bulk of my jobs during weeknights are VMware VM Diff jobs (using a policy), with VMware VM Full jobs running on Friday evenings.  Every morning, there will be at least 2 or 3 failed VM backups - different VMs each time, it seems to be random.  There's always at least 1 VM backup that appears to still be running (also, different machine each time).  The only way to stop the job is by recycling the BE services.

I suspect that this memory situation is somehow linked to the behavior I have been observing.

I did some searches on the Internet and it seems like I'm not the only one observing a possible memory leak with BE services - but it seems like Symantec yanks posts/comments related to this in the forums - I had to use the Google cached pages to read the content.

I ran Live Update, and my system is in need of HF 164659, 170962, 171073, and 172625.  The last 3 don't apply to me, and the first one doesn't mention anything memory related.

Anyone else having problems?
