BE2014 incorrectly backing up excluded volume (volume contains deduplication folder)
Hi,
I have BackupExec 2014 environment (with CASO)
I have a job defined on the CASO server where a media server backs itself up. (C drive, system state etc).
I have enabled SDR on the job, and have excluded a particular volume from the backup as it is too big (it contains a Backup Exec deduplication folder)
However, the job runs and tries to back up this excluded volume (along with the correct selections - C drive etc)
Has anyone got any ideas on how to stop this happening?

I'm running Backup Exec 15 here and I had the same issue. The Dedupe store (at least for BE15 on Server 2012R2) is listed as part of the Shadow Copy Components - you'll have to unselect it from there.
