Hi,
NBU is targeted at enterprise clients, where BE is more SMB and mid-tier backup software. Check below:

Thanks!
- pkhModeratorIf your environment is predominately Windows, then BE will be more suitable. If your environment is heterogeneous with a mix of Windows and Linux/Unix machine, then you would use NBU. BE is cheaper than NBU

hi all
but as i seen on http://www.choisirmonebusiness.com/documents/pdf/FR/FR/Symantec-Backup-Exec-2012-Guide.pdf
BE also support Linux and Mac OS
Thanks
- pkhModeratorYes, but not as extensive as NBU

yes but want i liked on BE is that suitable for virtuel ans physical infrastructure
- pkhModeratorNBU too can backup both physical and virtual machines
- CraigVModeratorWhat do you want to do? How big is your environment? Do uou have UNIX and a lot of Linux servers in the mix? Large environments are suitable for NBU especially for non-Windows servers. Cost-wise NBU is also going to be a lot more, and the learning curve a lot greater. Thanks!
