DLO Agent - Cannot Access Settings Information

One of our employees is running the DLO Agent on his laptop. Backups were running fine until a couple of days ago. Now, he has numerous files "pending" for backup, but no backup runs. His backup schedule is set to "Whenever a file changes." However, when he selects Settings and goes to the Schedule tab, everything is grayed out -- he cannot change anything.

Any ideas about why this is happening?
