Failed to install SQL Express BKUPEXEC instance with error -2068119551

How are you openeing the Backup Exe install CD (ISO)

Have you burnt it to a DVD?

Have you mounted it to a drive letter?

Have you extracted it to a folder structure on an existing volume?

Note: the last one of the 3 is the one that concerns me as we have seen similar error codes due to the overall path of where the ISO has been extracted to being too deep. As such if you have extracted it to something like X:\Folder\Subfolder\SubSubfolder\DeeperFolder\Backup Exec 2014\Install

Then you need to make this path much shorter and then try the install again.

Is this a first time installation of Backup Exec on this machine, or  are you upgrading from an older version of Backup Exec ? Also, what version of the OS is on this system?
