Hallo,
wir haben vor kurzem einen neuen Server (WIN 2008 R2) mit auf BEX-2012 aufgebaut und haben auf einem anderen Servern noch BEX-2010 im Einsatz.
aktueller Status Sicherung:
Wir sichern abends unsere Dateien, führen dann nachts eine Verarbeitung durch und sichern am Ende der Verarbeitung noch mal bestimmte Dateien auf Band. In BEX-2010 sind das zwei Jobs, einer startet um 19 Uhr und der zweite um 04 Uhr morgens (ab 21 Uhr läuft unsere Verarbeitung der Dateien).
An Feiertagen nehmen wir die beiden Jobs und die Verarbeitung über die Datumsauswahlliste raus. Das sind allerdings zwei verschiedene Tage bei den Backups.
BEX-2012
Hier kann ich nur ganze Tage aus dem Backup-Kalender entfernen. Unser Backup läuft ja immer über zwei Tage, an denen auch noch andere Backups laufen.
Wie stelle ich das hier ein?
Beispiel Sicherung:
Montag 19 Uhr, Dienstag 04 Uhr
Dienstag 19 Uhr, Mittwoch 04 Uhr
Mittwoch 19 Uhr, Donnerstag 04 Uhr
...
Mittwoch ist Feiertag, in BEX-2010 nehmen wir die letzten beiden Jobs (Mittwoch 19 Uhr, Donnerstag 04 Uhr) raus.
Wie geht das in BEX 2012.
In der Anleitung steht, das geht nur für ganze Tage und man soll "Einmalige Backups" an den anderen Tagen nutzen. Im Beispiel also Mittwoch und Donnerstag entfernen und dann Mittwoch 04 Uhr und Donnerstag 19 Uhr wieder eintragen. Die einmaligen Jobs lassen sich aber nicht aus den wiederkehrenden Jobs kopieren.
Muss man die wirklich komplett per Hand neu anlegen?
Was ist hier Best Practice.

current state backup :
We backup our files in the evening, then certain batch programs run at night and change the data, and at the end of processing we backup again certain files to tape. In BEX - 2010 are the two jobs , one starts at 7pm and the second at 04 am the other day (from 9 pm the batch programs run).
On holidays we take out the two jobs and the batch processing on the date selection list. However, these are two different days at the backups.
BEX 2012
Here I can only remove entire days from the backup calendar. Our backup is always running on two days, when even running other backups .
How do I do this here?
Example backup :
Monday 7 pm, Tuesday 4 am
Tuesday 7 pm , Wednesday 4 am
Wednesday 7 pm , Thursday 4 am
...
Wednesday is a public holiday , in BEX - 2010, we take the last two jobs out (Wednesday 7 pm , Thursday 4 am).
How to do this in BEX-2012.
The manual states, you can only use whole days and one should use " One-time backups " on the other days . In the example, remove Wednesday and Thursday and then enter Wednesday 4 am and thursday 7 pm manually. However, the one-time jobs can not be copied from the recurring jobs.
Do you have to really completely re- create by hand?
What is best practice here .

Yes. If you cannot live with the consequences of the BE 2012 exclude date feature, then you should stick to BE 2010 for the moment. BE 2014 should be out in a few months time.
