Howto use 1 MSDE / SQL for more backup servers

I saw another topic being posted some time earlier but it wasn't answered.

How can you manage to use 1 MSDE (or SQLserver) for more than 1 backup server? All my servers have their own tapeunit. During install you can choose to install a MSDE or choose an existing SQL server in the LAN. But the name of the database is always the same so a second server install in the same SQL says that the database allready excistst.

How can you handle this? I don't wan't to install a MSDE on every server.

    ummm... I guess you cannot use another database name... if you use SQL instead of MSDE, you could use different instances, but...

    Thinking about disaster recovery and all that stuff, note that if your only SQL fails, all of your backup server will fail. I guess it's safer to have msde's, but it's my opinion.
