Launch Backup Exec program, then no windows come out

Hi, Today I try to run "Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 for Windows" on Windows 2003 Server SP2., the program shows "Loading" for about 2 minutes. Then it windows disappear. I have restarted all Backup ...

    Hi there,

    Try patching Backup Exec with the latest service pack (SP4), and then with any remaining patches.
    Try opening it up again, and see if it works.
    If not, it can be something like an antivirus blocking it from starting up, so check the AV logs, as well as Event Viewer for any issues...
    Post the results here.

Try to opened Backup Exec console and when the console closes please check the Event viewer and check if there are any events generated when console closes. Check the followig technotes and confirm if the Events are similar to the one in the technotes. Perform the steps as per the technotes:

Also this issue is resolved in SP3 of Backup Exec 12.5. So try to install the SP3 from from the following link as per the system type (32 bit or 64 bit):
