    By default, every night at 0400, BackupExec creates a BEDB.BAK file in the \DATA directory
     
    backup that and the \Catalogs directory and you should be able to restore the media server if it dies  (User BEUTIL to "recover configuration from a file")

    Hi Dude ,

    Thanks for the promt reply,

    I want to know BEUTil mean BEUtility.exe? if yes may i know where is locaed "recover configuration from a file"
    Option ? i cant find that option. Please Help me ?

    As Ken says, you can backup the catalogs and the database backup, which will let you recover the BE configuration to another server.
    Alternatively you can backup the entire BE server, and in the event of a failure, perform the "Local Disaster Recovery process" in the Administrator's Guide. Note that this requires similar hardware though...
