No, the job cannot be invoked from the RALUS client. However, if certain scripts are to be called, they can be added in the Pre Command section of the backup job.

Data on the Linux server should be prepared by a set of complex scripts, so running them from the BE is impossible.

Is it possible to call BEMCLI from linux?

BEMCLI are a bunch a Powershell cmdlets.  According to this discussion, you can invoke Powershell from Linux
