Restore failed after copying media folder back to original location

Question

I copied some of the old media folders to free up disk space for backup. Now I need to restore from one of the old media folders, I copied it back to the original location, I ran catalog and inventory of the media successfully, but the restore failed.

Error category : Resource Errors Error : e000848c - Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again. If the server or resource no longer exists, remove it from the selection list. Edit the selection list properties, click the View Selection D

Please advise me what I should do to fix this

First of all, you should NEVER copy backup sets.&nbsp; See below

What you need to do is to set up a temporary copy of BE without any backup sets.&nbsp; Catalog the copied backup sets in this copy of BE and try the restore again.
