    You use SDR to recover the media server to another machine. Read the SDR chapter in the Admin Guide for further details. Make sure you have loaded the necessary drivers for the hardware of the new machine onto the SDR boot disk

but I was wondering how to restore the backup exec server if it stops.

as restore on another server?
