Server side deduplication option
I have a Backup Exec 2014 server setup. I have a dedupe volume created as well. I have added my vcenter host and I am backing up a test VM with SQL on it.
In the best practice for deduplication ...
By default, server-side dedup would be used. To use client-side dedup, you have to enable it.
Client-side dedup is not supprted for VMware hosts.
