Shadow Copying

I am having trouble backing up my server data.  At first I realized that my data was getting too large to backup to one 200/400gb tape, so I minimized the data, I copy all my hard drives successfully, but as soon as I select shadow copying to be added to my backup, my backup fails.  It ejects the tape, then asks to add an addtional overwritable media.
 
Any ideas? How big is the shadow copy?

    The answer is, "it depends". :smileywink:
    Shadow Copy Components consists of various features that can be quite large. It's not unusual for it to be several gigabytes.
