"The backup exec server system service is not responding. the service is either not running or not installed."
I cannot get the system service started on Backup Exec 12.5. The only thing I can think of, is that I changed my Windows Server 2003 Admin password, and since then, I am prompted to enter a password...
Go to Start>>Run>> Services.msc
Right click and go to properties of Backup Exec Server service.
Go to Log on and enter the username and password correctly.
Now try to start the service.
If it fails check the error in the Event viewer.
Please let us know the result... if its errors please paste the error here.
