To specify drive letters/folders or sharenames in selection lists?

Hi all, I am after some info on whether BE recommends drives & folders or sharenames in the selection lists. I cannot find any info on it, so maybe it doesn't matter. I can see advantages of both an...

    For remote machines, you should specify Server\Share rather than a mapped drive letter

Thanks for replying - I am talking mainly about remote servers (with agent installed), and I can specify either drive letter or share in the selection lists.
