Updating Veritas 10.0

I am currently running Veritas for Windows Server Ver 10.0 Rev 5484 with Service Pack1 and hotfixes 7,8,and 24 installed.

I have tried installing several other hotfixes such as the 30 but I just get a message that the hotfix can not be completed at this time and it quits.

I had one server cracked last month because of Veratis's great port 10000 screw up and I can't afford for it to happen again.

How come the hotfixes keep failing?

    Hi,

    Could you try upgrading to the latest build of Backup Exec 10.0 - Build 5520 instead of applying the hotfixes...

    Thank You.

    I have installed 5520 with hotfixes 6, 7, and 15 and pushed the new agent to all my servers.

    Is this all I need to do?

    How can I be notifyied by Backup Exec when new critical hotfixes come out?
