yet another problem with CPS
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and the problem is not going away.
I push install the agent to this 2003 Standard server with no problem. It installs without any problems. The issue is when I try to actually backup anything. It just sits on "Gathering Information" forever - I've let it go for days; I've tried various selections. My server also takes forever to log off now. In troubleshooting I found out that the CPS Agent will not stop either. In order to uninstall, I must first disable the cps agent service, reboot and then uninstall - otherwise the uninstall fails.
There is nothing special about this server. It's 2003 Standard w/ SP1 and also has SQL 2000 w/ Enteprise manager, etc. running on it.
Any ideas?
