Firstly is LLT working correctly?
Do lltstat -n which will tell you state of the links (heartbeat networks). You should be able to run this on each node and have all the other nodes shown with the correct number of links. If there are problems here check llttab and make sure that all nodes have the correct mac addresses, distinct node names and the same cluster number.
If llt is working fine, then gabconfig -a will tell you the state of gab. There should be a port a and a port h membership of each node (indicated by the numbers at the end of the line).

As Hywel mentioned, lltstat -n (or lltstat -nvv for very verbose output) is your first port of call. "lltconfig" is also a good command to make sure llt is loaded.
gabconfig -x is really a safety override... make sure you are only running this command if you know what you are doing... if you don't know why you shouldn't sometimes run it, DON'T RUN IT! call support.
Do you have any servers that are out for maintanence.
