Resource Fault question

Hello,

If the resource goes offline unexpectedly,  then agent will call clean script to bring the resouce completly offline, in this stage would it go to offline or fauled state?

    Resource goes into faulted state, unless RestartLimit is set (then VCS will try to restart) or Tolerance is set (then failure will be ignored).

    Agree with Mike ..

    Also, do check what resource was it, was it a infra resource (like DG/vol /FS) or it was an application or DB resource ..

    In any of the cases, it is quite possible that the fault may lie outside of VCS, & what VCS is doing is just a symptom & not the cause ..

    would be worth to look in what resource got failed, look at engine_A.log & the corresponding agent_A log which faulted
