Migrating backup traffic from one VLAN to an other

    Hello,

     

    ok. For your problem, i think that as you change your client name, you must fill in the netbackup master server, in Netbackup Mamagement / Host properties / Master servers

     

    Click on the master server name

    In the new window, click on client attribut

    Add the new name if it is not present

    Active Allow permission for Browse and Resotre Ability

    Click Permit access for Free Browse.

    It must solve your problem.

     

    PS : Enable this option allow client to launch restore. It can be a hole security if you are in mutualized environnement.

Thank you for your answer.

Maybe I was not explicit enough. The server that I'm talking about is the NBU server (providing master server and media server functionality).

So actually my problem is to change the configuration to use the new names for both the netbackup clients and the NBU server.
