6.5.1 job retry oddities

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or should I be submitting a ticket.  Since the upgrade, often a job will fail after 1 or 2 attempts, and rather than retrying, it will start all over again, but with a different schedule.  So a monthly job fails, and then it kicks off a yearly job.  Or a weekly fails, and a daily incremental starts.  And often those will fail because there is no window for those schedules at the time.

 

And also sometimes I'll get a 84 or 52 error, and it just ends completely, dosen't retry from the latest checkpoint.  When you've already backed up 800 meg and you have 100 to go, this can be very frustrating.  It must be a setup issue, but what should I be checking?
