Agent vs Agentless
Hi,
I am in the process of writing a business where I will be connecting my backup environment to the production SAN. We all know what the benefits are but this needs to be put in writing to senior management with some white papers if possible. Does anyone know where I can find a white papers outlining the benefits of Agent based backups vs Agent less (BLIB) / VMware Storage API backups? Also if possible a white paper showing a performance improvement from 1GB copper to 4GB/8GB fibre?

BTW, Agentless is not exclusive againt Agent. We sometimes use both on single VM - backup and recover system in VM without agent(VADP backup), and backup DBs and files in RDM volume with agent.
