    If you want to backup SQL on the VMs, then you need to install NBU agent on the VM.

    This is documented in NBU for VMware manual.

    I have no idea why you NEVER respond to attempts to help you.

    In most cases you simply post an error message with no background or details of your environment.
    When we ask for more info, you simply don't reply.

    There is no 'magic' solution to error messages.
    If you lookup the status code of your error in NetBackup Status Code manual (links to manuals in Handy NBU links in my signature), you will see possible reasons for the error, which logs to enable and check, and possible solutions. 

    We need you to tell us what you have done to try and troubleshoot.
