Change Domain Name

Hi, We need change netbackup master server domain name from stl.co. to stl.in. Dis join old domain and join new domain name, not changing master server hostname. Is it possible to change domain...

    Thank you for the details.

    The server has been configured with the FQN, this cannot herefore be changed to use the shortname, without a NetBackup Partner who offers this consulting service.

    It cannot be done by Technical Support - we are not allowed to do it.

There are a few partners that can do this for you

The other alternative is to use hosts files so that the Master, Media and Clients resolve it correctly, most importantly that the Master resolves itself properly
