Relax, the IP address I have is only an internal one. The server is isolated behind a firewall, and is not accessible from outside of our network.
The error 69 is detailed in a thread I posted yesterday at the following address:

It happens when I attempt to run vmadm, the menu-driven volume manager admin utility, which I attempted to use when the Java Administration Console did not behave as expected. All of my questions relate to this problem, as it is preventing any use of NetBackup.
I'm marking this question as answered, since I have more detailed info in a new thread, and you did answer my initial question. I've run some more bpclntcmd diagnostics, as the troubleshooting guide suggested, and I think I'm closer to knowing what the problem is. The only question now is - what to do about it?
