Duplication jobs are getting queued

Hi,

Our environment is on Netbackup 7.1 and master server is on windows 2008 R2 environment.

We have Storage Lifecycle policies (SLP)  in our environment. My concern is that Duplication jobs are getting queued and they are piling up day by day.

We have a total of approx 400 duplication jobs queued.

This is very urgent kindly help me!!

    please show us the  output nbstlutil report

    you would need to size your Duplicacation Drives accrding to  the duplication data.

    did you check the the tape Drives that you have are capable of Duplicating all the data that is comming from SLP?

    if that is not the case, you need to increase the catacity of tape drives, or reduce the SLP data that you need to send.

    if you do not want to do duplication you can cancle the duplication using

    nbstlutil cancle <options>

    Sorry for the delay in response was on vacation!!

    This is now resolved i checked that drives were having device allocations got stuck/orphaned in NBU Resource Broker.

    We released the allocations using the below commands;

    Run the below commands on the master server;

     1.) /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbrbutil -resetAll

     2.) /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbrbutil -dump

    3.) Compare MDS allocations at the bottom of the screen with actual device usage in Device Monitor or vmoprcmd output.

     Release incorrect allocations with:

     /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbrbutil -releaseMDS <mdsAlocationKey>

    4.) Restarted netbackup services on the master as well as on each media servers.

    5.)  To delete all device records;

     /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbemmcmd -deletealldevices -allrecords

     6.) Rescanned the storage units in through netbackup GUI and ran the backups and they are running fine utilizing
