Fail to add NDMP host on Netbackup 7.7.3
Hello everybody,
I would like to add a Dell Compellen NAS FS 8600 for backing it up with netbackup.
I have configured a NDMP user at Storage Level but when I try to add it to Netbakcup NDMP Credentials I get the following Error.
NDMP failed to verify host
Authorization failed for NDMP host BINVREFNAS1
Also i looked on the NDMP log and when I run the command the logs get this error.

Best to log a call with Veritas and DELL for assistance.
I have checked NetBackup for NDMP: NAS appliance information doc for information, but your Appliance does not appear in the 'Vendor-specific information' chapter (although listed in the HCL).
We see in this doc that certain Appliances need a specific user name for NDMP backup.Seeing that there is no information available from NBU point of view w.r.t requirements for this make and model, best to log a call with DELL and Veritas.

It was a misconfigured NDMP on the storage. It was solved.
