Failed to install network adapter : Check WINBOM

Question

I am attempting to restore a windows xp professional machine with BMR on LAN.

TFTPD part loads perfect and I see symantec screen and suddenly I see a dialogue box saying>

I have made sure that the network drivers for that machine is available in packages.

Can you please help with this?

Does you client have Broadcom NX-II NICs?If yes, there are a couple of known issues associated with these cards.Pl. contact Symantec support and they should be able to help you out.HTH,Amol.

This issue has been identified to be known with certain Braodcom and Qlogic drivers when booting using the BMR boot disc.
You may need to create a new bootdisk to overcome this.
or simply Install the NetBackup client 6.5 software (Point to the Master Server in question)in any test server and then run BMR boot server setup and update the client to 6.5.3.&nbsp; Now execute \install path\veritas
etbackup\bin\bmrsetupboot.exe and create a new SRT, then use the Boot Server Assistant to create the new bootdisc. This disc will boot the client without any issues.&nbsp;

i am using INTEL PRO lan card which is built-in LAN card in the intel motherboard.. How to update the client 6.5 to&nbsp;client to 6.5.3...is there any patch available which can upgrade the 6.5 client to 6.5.3

You can upgrade all your client to 6.5.4.
