how to handle this error?

    "no entity was found"  means the image does not exist. 

    Are you 100% sure the backup was successful?
    Or maybe typo error?

      now that you've mentioned it, was a typo. i mistakenly copied and pasted the backup id for an unsuccessful backup job.

      i thought something wrong with my databases.

        It may or not be an error when a query to bpdbm results in a 227 error (no entity was found). Sometimes the call is an existence check. It's up to the caller to decide. The caller in this case decided it was an error, and changed the 227 into a 220 (database system error) because you can't expire an image that's not catalogued in the database.
