NetBackup and OpsCenter Analytics Custom Reporting

Hi all, good day!

Just want to ask for your help regarding on your knowledge or thougts about NetBackup and OpsCenter Analytics.

Here is the Scenario:

1. We have NetBackup 8.1 which has a Backup Data for our Email for the last October.

2. We have OpsCenter 8.1 for the long run and we added the license for OpsCenter Analytics yesterday.

It is possible to view our data for the last 2 months?

Hoping for a feedback.

Thank you and best regards!

  • The default maximum retention for OpsCenter (the free version) is 90 (edit) 60 days, so yes... as long as you have previously elected  / configured to retain data for two months or more then you should be able to report on that job data.  What I mean is... OpsCenter has retention settings for various meta-data, and so it matters whether you have previously selected to retain for the maximum of 90 (edit) 60 days before you installed the new license which now allows you to retain meta-data within OpsCenter for far longer.

Seems free version only allows max 60 days.

Extract from OpsCenter Admin Guide: https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/27537447-127427700-0/v29833486-127427700

Access on the unlicensed Veritas NetBackup OpsCenter console :
You cannot view data older than 60 days.

You can view default retentions under Settings > Configuration > Data Purge options
    See:  https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/doc/27537447-127427700-0/v46279584-127427700
