Netbackup Client network port 1556
Hi All,
I have several questions about the netbackup client network port 1556:
- Is it only in use in version 7?
- Is it really in use in client? (The reason why is the client also using port 1556 for Oracle listener)
- My colleague kill the PBX daemon that use that port, why the netbackup still can backup/restore this client?
- Is it possible to change the port?

2. Yes. Your Oracle dba needs to change Listener port. Symantec has registered port 1556.

The default Oracle Listener port is 1521.
