e.g.

# DISPLAY="your workstation IP address"( i.e. where you're trying to run the BAR GUI from)

& then run jnbSA

Or run it from a "CDE" session (or equivalent)

For those who stop reading at this point (!), DISPLAY variable to be exported should be ip_address:0.0

You meant setting up variable like

DISPLAY= 63.247.234.60; export DISPLAY

Exactly(ish) - you export the DISPLAY variable using the IP address with the addition of :0.0 at the end (sorry, I missed that off my original post).

So using your example:

DISPLAY= 63.247.234.60:0.0 ; export DISPLAY

Again, apologies for the mis-direction.

export DISPLAY=mypcname:0.0

you will also need to have X running on your pc.

I setup varibale but still the same errors.

Is jnbSA just for linux platform?  The netbackup master server is in UNIX .  Do i have to use jbpSA?

jbpSA is just the Backup, Archive & Restore GUI, whereas

jnbSA is the Admin Console GUI.

As Judy intimated - have you some flavour of "X" installed on your 'workstation'.

Can you confirm the DISPLAY environment variable is set?

e.g.

# echo $DISPLAY
