Problem with accents when i need to restore

My client is a windows 2008 R2

Are these the actual filenames that you have created?

Is   '/F:/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations' 
the filename that contains the list of folder or filenames to be restored?

Here the -f is saying to NBU that the folder '/F:/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/' contains a file name 'Convocations et invitations' that holds a list of files and/or folder names to be restored.
If this is the path that you want to restore, drop the '-f'.
 

Is RESTOR in -R parameter : '/F:/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations/RESTOR/' 
the file that contains source and destination?
This actually looks like a folder name. This parameter need a filename that contains the 'rename' or 'change' statement.

to a new folder:

'/F:/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations/RESTOR/

but when i try to view the contains of folders with accents i have " No entity was found" and only for folders with accents...

I have a windows 2008 R2 as client

 and a linux as master

my netbackup version is 7.6.0.5

Please have a look at the bprestore command usage in the TN that I have posted above.

Your -f and -R parameters are incorrect. 

Your netbackup version cannot be 7.6.0.5.
The latest version is 7.6.0.2.

I know that there has been an issue with the Java GUI and special characters.
If I remember correctly, the Windows Admin Console works fine.
I will see if I can find details and update this post.

There are quite a nuber of posts about the same issue.
Some posts indicate that the issue is fixed in NBU 7.5.0.4, others say that an EEB fixed the issue.

This TN says that the issue is still present in NBU 7.5.0.4: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH204056  

Best to log a Support call if you are on a version later than 7.5.0.4.

I was going to suggest that - try the windows admin console.

I resume you are running the Java console from the PC as opposed to jnbSA / -server.

Try this

Modify <install_path>\VERITAS\Java\nbjava.bat to use UTF-8 encoding adding the following entry: -Dfile.encoding="UTF-8"

Also, make sure the locals on the servers are set to UTF-8.

If the files being backed up are on a NetApp filer - make sure the language on the volume is set to <lang>-UTF-8

try quotes on the command line with the correction suggested by Marianne:

"/F:/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations"

Seems the Java GUI bug is present here.

I am sure the bprestore will work if -f and -R options are used correctly.

Use short folder and filename for -f, e.g.
C:\Temp\files.txt

and something similar for the -R rename-file, e.g:  
C:\Temp\rename.txt

Please take note of the requirement to end the rename-file with <CR>

The rename-file should look like this: 

rename <length> backup_filepath <length​>  restore_filepath

Oh! and don't use the colon (:) when using Unix-style filepath.

i.e.
rename 94 /F/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations 103 /F/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations/RESTOR/ <CR>

A good test will be to see if bplist actually lists the folder correctly before you try bprestore.

It try to restore :

Or i need restore only  F/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations"

in a new path...

I don't want to rename my folder but i want to have another similar who is called RESTO...

The restore is down with error 2808 :(

For your information  EUR1_WIN is the name of the policy for my client

I don't understand because the syntax says :

For example: bprestore -R /C/renamefile /C/origfile

Where /C/rename_file is the file with the name change and /C/origfile is the file to be renamed.

So I tryed too:

bprestore -B -t 13 -C soget001-app-06 -D soget001-app-06 -p EUR1_WIN -s 05/04/2014 15:35:48 -e 05/04/2014 15:35:48 -R "/F/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations/RESTO"  "/F/Mutre/10 - Instances/Instances MutRé SA/AG/2014_AGM 21 mai 2014/Convocations et invitations/"

and the error  is the same...2808   :(
