Replication vs. Duplication
Hello Forum, I have a quick question regarding NetBackup backup terms and definitions. What are the distinctions, if any, between NetBackup replication and duplication ?
In simple words
eg: Duplication - data is transferred between one medium/devices to another medium .
like disk to tape,tape-tape
For AIR- It is site to site replication using SLPs.replicates one Netbackup Domain to another Netbackup domain.

Duplication stays in the same domain, replication goes between domains.
