Restore from NTBACKUP

Can we restore a tape backed up with netbackup, through ntbackup?

Use WIndows 2000/2003 Server. Even BackupExec coculd in the older versions. Download a trial version. Though I think it'll be easier to just standup a new old OS build.

I don't think so.

The format in which NBU writes data to a tape (tar) , can't be read by ntbackup. (also i believe no other backup software can read).

So restoration can't be done by ntbackup.
