Scan, Tpautoconf, Robtest, tpconfig Commands

Hi All, Could somebody tell me the differences among SCAN,Tpautoconf, tpconfig and Robtest command.? Thanks, Belse

    HI,

    Tpautoconf

    The Device Configuration Wizard normally uses tpautoconf to discover devices. This wizard calls tpautoconf with a different set of options.

    Tpconfig configures robots ,drives, drivearrays, drivepaths, and hostsforus With NetBackup.

    Robtest  The robotic test utility.

    I wonder if the scan cmd should be necessary before running tpautoconf,  because most times we do not run scan and directly run tpautoconf -a successfully！
