Tape Library problem

    You need NetBackup Library Based Tape Drive license key in order to use the robotic tape drives in NBU. It is a separate line item on your license key certificate (not included in NetBackup Enterprise Server license).

    You can see that this description/feature appears nowhere in license key output.
    No idea how it worked previously...

    Standalone tape drives can be used without this license key.

hi,

as you are saying library maintance was happend, did you see the robot and Drives in OS level after maintance.

check if you are able to see the devices in OS level and also in scan level.

/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/scan  -> check if you are able to see the robots and Drives .

/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/tpautoconf -t 

and also check if you are able to do the robtest

/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/robtest.
