Using an older Vault license with a newer version of NetBackup

Question

We may have to rebuild our 7.1 master server. We have 7.1 license keys with exception of our Vault option, which is for 6.5. Will we still be able to use it? As I understand it, yes, but, I am not certain. Thank you in advance.

Just wondering why you don't have Vault license? 
If you have renewed it along with rest of licenses, you should be able to get it on the Licensing portal or from Symantec Customer Care.

Based on my research, that option for whatever reason was somehow missed back when the support renewal was purchased and allowed us to get everything else to 7.1.
