veritas netbackup .img tools

i need a tool to open .img veritas is there any tool
7.1.x and Earlier

    If you now have a NetBackup CD and license key then install it somewhere - create a disk storage unit - copy you .img file into that storage unit and then run a phase 1 and 2 import against it

    Then try the restore

    Make sure you use at least the same NBU version or higher than it was backed up with

Never tried it, tar -tvf is safe to run, just give it a go, command should be in ...netbackup\bin directory.

If it doesn't work, you could copy the file(s) to a Unix server taht has NBU on it (into a temp dir) and run the command from there.
