Windows versions

Hi,

Is it possible to run different version of Windows on the master and media servers.

Let's say I run Windows 2008 R2 on my master and my media servers. Is it possible/supported/OK to add a new media server or upgrade an existing one to Windows 2012?

    Not only you can have different Windows versions on master and media servers, it can have different types of OS (Windows, Linux, UNIX)
