NSS compatibility with Veritas Flex Appliance master server instances

Hi,

I was wondering if NSS is compatible with master servers running on flex appliances?

I have configured NSS as a PoC but i am having issues connecting my master servers. Because of the inflexibility around creating accounts on containers on the Flex Appliance i'm not entirely sure i can get it to work. 

The appadmin account cannot be modified as far as im aware, but the account needs to not prompt for a password when sudo is used to elevate. 

The error i get is as follows:

"Failed to contact master server
Last Error RunCommand failed. sudo /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpgetconfig '-g' 'localhost' '-L' ExitCode '1' Error message 'sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified '"
 
Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

    Hi Leth,

    NSS is currently not compatible with Flex Appliances.

    We are investigating possible future support with our engineering teams and will update this post with any developments in this area as they happen.

      Hello Ben,

      Is this still valid ? We are running 9.1.0.1 on Media instance on flex. Please suggest
