BE 2014 - Backup Strategy

Guys,

i need help to create a new backup strategy for my enviroment.

here i have 4 node failover cluster whit hyper-v, i have around 60 Vm´s and more 20 phisical machines.

Diary (Incremental)  : 6 days retention

Weekly (Full) : 4 weeks retention

Monthly (Full) : 1 year retention (sent offsite)

what you think?

i have some doubts about this:

1. I need to create one job for each backup type (diary, weekly and monhtly)?

2. for my diary backup (Incremental) i need to use a refernce Full backup for my incremental diary backup rigth? this full backup could be the weekly full backup or i need to create a full backup for diary and other for weekly?

3. i think in use media set for each backup type and configure the retention for each type, this way, when the overwrite protection of tape ends, BE 2014 will automaticaly user this tape again rigth?

by now, i can´t user disk deduplicaiton, because i dont have avaliable storage to do this, but it is in my future plans.

So guys, please help me on this, i need some helo to understand how is the best strategy and how apply this on BE2014
