Bexec Exchange 2003 backup size

We are using backup exec 10.1 with agent for exchange 2003. When we use normal windows tool to backup only exchange mailboxes the size of the backup is about 110 GB.
When i start backup exchange mailboxes(nothing more) using veritas Bexec (AOFO disbaled) the size of the backup is doubled about 260GB. Why ?
